Scholarship is suspended until further notice
The 2022 recipients were selected and scholarships awarded. Their pictures are on our Awards page.
We are very grateful to have been able to assist 3 years of recipients with their post-secondary expenses. At this time, we are suspending the scholarship until further notice.
Congratulations to every student who submitted in the past. We hope you maintain your scholarly activities as well as your community involvement.

2022-august-03 All applications were reviewed and evaluated by the team. The top 10 have been contacted and further evaluation is being done to select the 5 who will receive the Longan Scholarship.

Longan is all about community. Ontario has set up a website for volunteers to add their names to a list that will be used in emergencies.
There have been countless heroes who have stepped up and volunteered their time during emergencies like natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic. Join them by registering to help your community in times of emergency.
On this site you can register, participate in free online training and receive a Criminal Record Check to prepare you to respond when an emergency happens.
